Finally found some good Chinese food in the city!! And they deliver? Bonus! ...you actually really should have them deliver because the building isn't pretty. I try not to think about it or look at it while walking down the street. I'd rather not think about where it comes from and just focus on the food.Always hot and fresh and really great prices. I have tried the General Tso's Chicken (spicy option), dumplings, fried rice, wonton soup and crab rangoons . All were the best I've tried in the city. Minus the rangoons they could have been better but hey they were free since we spent over $20

Completely ignoring the restaurant's interior environment is what allows me to give Lucky Fortune 4 stars, as the food is actually pretty decent in terms of Americanized Chinese fare standards.General Tso's chicken and all other generic entrees are perfectly passable, soups are actually pretty flavorful with some fresh components and the overall value of lunch specials is insane. For ~$6 you get an entree w/rice, egg roll AND soup/soda -- which honestly is more than enough for a single meal.If they stepped their game up in terms of using higher quality ingredients consistently (bigger variety of fresh veggies, white meat chicken, etc.) then they could earn that coveted 5th star.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and I found decent Chinese food in Baltimore. I have ordered from every Chinese restaurant that will deliver to Federal Hill. There have been at least six that ranged from OK to inedible. I was so desperate that I ordered from the merely OK ones a second time with the hope that they'd be better. More than once I threw out the entire order from other restaurants because it was so disgusting.Lucky Fortune is solid, American Chinese food. This is what I could get just about anywhere in other places I've lived but hardly seems to exist in Baltimore. Kung Pao, General Tso's, Sweet & Sour, Lo Mein, Egg Rolls, Dumplings... it's all been hot and tasty and they don't load it up with trash vegetables or questionable pieces of mystery meat. You can order online and not have to talk to anyone. They have permanent coupons. (Free Crab Rangoon with $20 order). It's cheap and good.
